To get £1 million at the start go to the password screen and
type in th.l.r.ch then fill the rest of the password with full stops.
This cheat is so good you can have any name you want .

$20,000 per bus load
Establish your park a little so that you can attract a bus load of
visitors. Now set your ticket prices to say $10 (It doesn't matter,
just make it cheap). Now watch the gates carefully and when a bus load
of kids roll up and make their way to the ticket booth quickly access
the bank screen and change the ticket prices to the maximum ($998, You
can hold the L or R button plus D-PAD direction to speed up the
process). Go back to the game screen and watch the little kids enter
your park, once they have entered go back to the bank screen and
lower your ticket prices again (or nobody else will roll up). Check
your balance it would have made a healthy leap, you should be able to
make at least $20,000 per bus load early on in the game which is
useful but it is a long process.
Save money
To save money on one of the "make your own" rides e.g. roller coaster,
race cars; make the smallest loop you can and put the entrance down.
Now delete part of the track and make the ride as big as you want and
it will cost nothing more.
