Federation Prototype A - Enter the code for New ships.
Go to two player combat. Player one pick Phoenix and
player two pick Gorn. Let player one win. Go to one
player combat training. Prototype A should be first.
If you scroll you'll have to do this again. I let the game
run with three Exelesior ships firing on me. A half hour
later, the protype didn't even have a scratch!!

If you`re stuck in a combat situation and the enemy is draining
away your precious shield protection, warp out of the battle area
to Open Space, and then immediately warp back to your original
location. The enemy will still be there, your shields will still be
there, but your shields will have been restored to 100%
Names change
Go into the new game menu. At the section where it allows you to
choose your name, hold L and R and press X, Y over and over until
the names change. Keep holding L and R, then push A, B over and over.
The names will change to those in the Star Trek series!!
Keep Captain Kirk
Start a new game and go to the "Name Select screen." Hold L, R and
Select, then press A, B, A, B, X, Y, X, Y, then choose Captain Kirk.
If you reach the final exam as Kirk, you'll be able to hail the
Attacking Klingon vessels and save the Kobayashi Maru. When you're
given a password after entering this code, you'll notice that you'll
continue from there with a standard cadet instead of Capt. Kirk. To
avoid this, enter your password, but don't start yet. Enter the above
code again, release all the buttons and press Select to resume play.
Keep doing this everytime you get a password to keep Captain Kirk.
Choose from the starships Excelsior and Phoenix
On the screen where you select what ship you wish to use, hold
L, R and Select, then press A, Y, B, Y. This code allows you to
choose from the starships Excelsior and Phoenix during either
two-player mode or the Combat Simulator.
New ships in Training Mode
At the "Training Simulator Main Menu", "Ship Selection Menu", or
the "Two Player Ship Selection Menu", hold L + R + Select and press
A, Y, B, Y for new ships in Training Mode.
Play as a playtester or any of the Classic Star Trek crew
At the Cadet Register screen, hold L + R + Select and press X, Y, X, Y,
A, B, A, B to play as a playtester or any of the Classic Star Trek crew!
Get a special ending
While playing the final mission as James T. Kirk, you'll get a special
ending. Note: Try hailing the Klingons instead of attacking.

At the Password Option screen, hold L + R + Select and press
X, X, X, A, L, A, R, Y, A, R, A, A. Next press X, Y, X, Y,
Y, A, B, A, B. Release all buttons, then press Select again.
Return to the screen with the picture menus and choose
Insignia. Choose "Ship" when he gives you an option. Hail
the Kobayashi Maru by choosing choice A, and navigate
toward 014,021. When the computer says the Klingons are
about to attack, hail them! You get a special ending.
