To do hard slashes quicker try holding R while pressing one of the attack buttons.
Use Amakusa
On the opening screen, quickly press A, Y, X, B. Then, on the Player
Select screen, hold the L and R buttons, then press Start. In the
"1P vs. 2P" mode, you must continue holding the L and R Buttons until
your opponent has chosen a fighter to use Amakusa. This code does not
work in the "1P vs. COM" mode.
Amakusa Moves
Taunt : Heavy Slash or Kick
Force Ball : All 4 buttons at once.
Kamikaze Bomber : Triangle Jump, then A.
Fire Dragon : Quarter Circle Back, Slash.
Teleport : Quarter Circle Forward, then Slash to go Forward or Kick to go Back.
