San Fransisco tricks
Sent in by Aaron In San Fransisco, where you team up with Venom for the first time, there are two tricks in this level. The first is: fight until you get to the computer ATM machine next to the pillar, go up in front of the computer and beside the pillar and do Venoms special twirling attack, by pressing B and Y at the same time. If this doesn't work when you do it when Carnages mob are still around, you need to defeat them all, and them try it and if it still doesn't work you need to try and get in different positions, you will go to a secret room with fire extengiushers to throw and you will gain some extra lives. The second trick is: when you land in front of the bank, shoot your web upwards by pressing up and X at the same time, and keep on trying to swing near the middle, and if you hear a sound, there was an extra life that you got. And a trick that can be done anywhere, get in the middle of two people, and press A, you cant press anything else, this will bump the two's heads in to each others. If you do this to two bosses, without hurting them before you start, you get an extra life and an extra continue, and will defeat them automatically. Sent in by Norfleet After you defeat all of the enemies in the secret room in the Fantastic Four building, wait a while and a free continue circle will show up where the hearts were.
Hidden items and lives
Sent in by Norfleet At the beginning of Central park 1, shoot a web vertically and climb to the top of the gate to get a Morbius icon. On the Second Rooftop stage, there is a Spiderman/Venom icon behind the tree at the top of the screen. Two helpful items lie behind the first two trees in Central Park 1. Walk behind the tree and hold up and press A to climb straight up and get the item. There is a Spiderman/Venom icon behind one, and a full heart container behind the other. When you first start the stage called, "the Deep" walk back a little bit and you will find a hidden 1 up against the back wall. In the "Ruined Boys Home" stage, stand in front of the door and let Carnage hit you, and you will be teleported to a secret room with hearts and 2 lives. You must be Spiderman to do this trick!Tip on heroes and bosses
Sent in by Norfleet Certain heroes do more damage than others on certain bosses. Here is a list of what Heroes to use on different enemies. Doppleganger: Cloak, Black cat Demigoblin: Deathlock, Spiderman/Venom Shriek: Firestar? Carrion: Deathlock, Spiderman/Venom (No one else works on this guy so don't waste too many Hero icons on him.) Any Human boss: Cloak Carnage: Dagger (kills him in one hit every time!) Captain America and Morbius don't serve much of a purpose in this game. Just use them to clear out an area full of enemies. Use Iron Fist when you are low on energy fighting a group of bosses.2 hearts and an extra man

Sent in by Greg Fralix If you stand in the middle of two enemies and press B without pressing left or right, webbing will shoot out of both hands and slam the enemies into each other. If you do this to two bosses without hitting them before you do it you will get an extra man and an extra continue.Climb and Rooftop secrets
Sent in by Joel Welsh There are two tricks in this level, the first one is you go all the way to the right side of the screen and climb up buy the last window and jump kick down into it. There is a secret room. The other one is when your on the roof, keep hitting the water tower until it falls down, pick it up and throw it. There is a extra continue under it.Cloak icon

Sent in by Spidey On the beginning of the stage where you have to fight the big Muzzoid robot use venom at the first start of the stage go over to the left a little bit and you will see a black box with an arrow on it, jump and do a regular kick. Don't do a flying jump kick just do a regular jump then kick motion. You should then go to a secret room that has a lot of goodies to help you on your way.Hero icon calls and extra life

Sent in by Anthony Mariano On the first rooftop Stage (when playing against Doppleganger and Shriek), hit the water tower a few times to knock it down. Pick it up. Where the water tower used to stand, there is a Continue. Throw the water tower at the Doppleganger to finish him off with one hit.Secret rooms
Sent in by Kydd Lawless The first one is in the police station, and there's a couple ways to get into it. In about the middle of the level, you'll see a big gaping doorway that three cops come out of (I think there's two fire extinguishers you can pick up and throw right next to it too). First thing to do is beat up all the cops in the area. One way to get into the secret room is to go up to the doorway and push up and jump. The other way is to climb the wall above the doorway and push down and jump. Obviously the first way's easier, so try it first. The other secret room is right after the police station, in the level where you fight Shriek and two punks on a rooftop. Use Cloak to get the two punks out of the way, jump on top of the glass skylight, then go to the top-right corner of it. With your back to the wall, push right and jump. If you do it right, you'll do a back flip then you'll go to the secret room.Sent in by Anthony Mariano Climb Stage: Before starting the climb, run over to the second building. Notice the window to the right of the door? Climb right above it and jump down into it to find the first secret room.
