Then, press Left, A, Right, Down and Y to slow the opposing team to a
crawl. This works whether you are batting or fielding. The effects last
for the remainder of the inning.
Random pitches

Pause the game at the batting screen. Then, press L, Y, A and Right
while batting to make the opposing team's pitches become random.
For example, if the opposing picture tries to throw a fastball, it may
become a curve. The effects last for the remainder of the inning.
Max Ability

Pause the game at the batting screen. Then, press A, Right, Down, Left,
A and Down to maximize your team's abilities in all areas. This works
whether you are batting or fielding. The effects last for the remainder
of the inning.
Hitting homers

Here's a tip to hitting homers. When the pitch comes hold down and
swing on the right time.

Pause the game at the batting screen. Press Select, Down, A, and Y. Day will
turn into night or vice versa.
Two player codes
Do these codes while the game is paused in two player mode:
Max Ability: A, Right, Down, Left, A, Down, Select
Slow Down: Left, A, Right, Down, Y, Select
Randomize Pitches: Left, Y, A, R, Select
Super Pitches: B, A, Down, B, A, Left, Left, Select
Instant Home Run: B, Y, B, Y, Select (only for players in who are also
in the Home Run Derby Mode)
Make sure a tone sounds after each code is entered or else they won't
work! To enter each code a game must be started then paused.
View the end credits
To view the end credits, press B, A, Down, B, Up, B, B and A on the
Title Screen.
Hidden teams
On the Title Screen press A, B, X, Y, Up, Down and Select to find four
hidden teams. However, there's a catch... a whole season must be
completed first! If you've finished a 162 game season then four
teams will be yours to mess around with. If a 26 or 52 game season has
been completed then only I or 2 teams will be available.
