Gameplay: 6 out of 10
Hardness factor: 5 out of 10
Overall: 5.5 out of 10
Graphics: The graphics aren't all that good. You play as a ninja
but the worlds you play in just are targeted towards a younger
audience. For example, the first stage looks like Candy Land or
something like that.
Sound: The songs are pretty average for a Gameboy game. They are
pretty low quality, but the sound and sound effects fit the theme of
each land.
Gameplay: This game is just another sidescroller. You play as Zool, a
ninja, and make your way through a level and then to a boss. Instead of
just slicing with your sword, however, you shoot out a ball, so it's a
little bit like a shooter too. The controls were done pretty well even
though there really isn't a lot you can do, and the dynamics of the game
is pretty good. After a while, the game does get boring.
Hardness factor: Zool wasn't too hard. You can take out almost every
enemy from far away since you shoot out a ball every time you hit,
and it's not like there is anything else to keep you from completing a level.
Overall: 5.5 out of 10. An okay sidescroller, but it lacks the depth
of a good game.
