Mortal Kombat 3
Reviewed by Drew
This is the third game in the Mortal Kombat fighting series. It has
multiple fighters to choose from, 3 difficulties, and a set of
options which allow you to turn off/on blood and fatalities, and
modify other features within the game. The game contains a
varied line of fighters with special and unique moves.
Graphics 9 out of 10
The graphics are very good for a Super NES game. I honestly couldn't
make out a difference between this and the arcade game. The
graphics are smooth and everything runs fast.
Music and Sound 10 out of 10
The music set the atmosphere and mood perfectly. There is that
sense of rage in the music. It is rare that music is well done like
this is, but the developer did an excellent job with the music and
sound effects.
Game Challenge 9 out of 10
This is a very challenging game. Although there are three different
difficulty levels, it is tough to beat even on Novice (at least for me).
This is probably the hardest part of the game to get used to,
because it is so hard.
Game Play-Fun 10 out of 10
Oh yeah, Mortal Kombat 3 is a fun game. With different fighters
to choose from each time, fatalities, babalities, and anamalities
to learn, there is much to try even after you've beaten the game.
And although difficult, Mortal Kombat 3 keeps you coming back for more.
Frustration
Very frustrating. I find myself cursing at the characters, threatening
them. It is a hard game, so it is no wonder that the frustration
came along with it.
Replayability 9 out of 10
Yeah, even after beating it you'll want to play this game again. With
a two player mode available, you can even battle a friend.
Game Value 10 out of 10
I got mine for only $8, but I would have gladly paid $30 for this
game. I am very satisfied.Great sound, graphics, and a fun time
are well worth the price.
Violence 7 out of 10
I was well pleased with the violence factor. There were plenty
of bone crushing fatalities to please me. Lots of blood and gore.
Overall 10 out of 10
GREAT GAME! Go buy it. If you don't have a Super NES, then go buy
one for this game. You will thank me for it. This is one of the
greatest games ever made for the Super NES, and if you haven't
ever played it, then you're missing out on a lot of fun.
