Graphics: Another Disney game, so the graphics are very detailed and
good. Mickey looks a lot like the cartoon and the color scheme varies
throughout the different levels so it makes the game more interesting.
Sound: Sound is okay, a lot like the cartoon. Of course, that isn't saying
much since it does get annoying eventually. SFX are cartoony and are
okay but I think it's really cool that they used some of the SFX from
the cartoons also.
Gameplay: A pretty basic sidescroller. You can attack, jump, and that's
pretty much it. However, the levels were nicely done and the enemies
look really cool. One of the things I like about this game is that it's
original and just fun to see the history of Mickey. They also got the
controls down very well.
Hardness factor: Wasn't too hard, except some of the enemies when
they throw projectile weapons at you. Also, the 2nd to the last and last
boss are pretty hard. Luckily the controls in this game are good, or else
it would be harder.
Overall: 7 out of 10. A pretty good game, despite its kiddy image. I don't
personally recommend going out and getting it, but if you've ever liked
any Disney games besides this one or a simple sidescroller then maybe
you should. Nice graphics, sound, and decent gameplay.
