Graphics: The graphics for this game are really good. The graphics look
a lot like the ones from the NES, only upgraded. He's no X, but it's the
classic Mega Man we all know and love. There's a significant amount of
detail to characters, but most things just have a cartoony look to them.
Sound: Sound is also really good, a lot like the original. I don't think they
could have made it any better and stuck with the theme of the original Mega Man.
Gameplay: A sidescroller that has a lot of interesting aspects. After you
beat the boss of the level, you will get a special power that you can equip.
These are used in different situations, like finding new items and taking
care of a boss easier. Controls are pretty good, though Mega Man moves a
bit too slow.
Hardness factor: The game is pretty hard, but with practice it isn't a
lot of trouble. You'll have trouble on the last boss of course (in every
series the last boss usually has a few forms, so save up on life). Jumping
over pits sometimes can be a bit of a hassle too.
Overall: 7.5 out of 10. This game is pretty nice. Fun gameplay, good graphics,
and they even got the sound to match the original. While I like the X series
a bit more, this is still a good Mega Man game.
