Gameplay: 3 out of 10
Hardness factor: 7.5 out of 10
Overall: 4 out of 10
Graphics: Graphics are better than the original, lemmings look different
and quite humorous despite their blockyness. Nothing spectacular, but
at least it's not as bad as the first.
Sound: They also improved the sound, though only a little bit. A bit more
music and the sound effects are clearer, but it's still nothing spectacular.
Gameplay: Okay, so they improved the graphics and sound, so the gameplay
should also be better, right? Wrong. Take the original lemmings, suck
all the fun out of it, and add some lame lemmings with even lamer powers.
Now you have Lemmings 2. It's still the same as the one before, but
lemmings now have powers which are usually too annoying to be of any good.
Hardness factor: It gets really hard towards the middle levels and it will
probably frustrate you. Not much else to say about the game besides hard.
Overall: 4 out of 10. The graphics and sound are upgraded from the
original (though ever so slightly) but they took the fun out of it. That's
what you get for trying to ruin a classic
