Kirby Superstar
Reviewed by Erik
Kirby Superstar is a great game because it has nine different games. (one hidden) It
also lets you and a friend play at the same time on the same team! Not many games
do that. Here are a few of the games. "The Arena"=you fight all of the bosses in the
game, but can only use a limited amount of max power ups. "Milky Way Wishes"=A
great game where you tour the galaxy of dreamland in search of power stars. Once
you get a power, you keep it forever and it goes in your power inventory. "The Great
trail offensive"=A rather hard game where you wander in a huge world in search of
treasures.
Graphics 8 out of 10
I think this game has pretty good graphics for the Super NES. It has a lot of "special
effects". Like people appearing out of nowhere and Kirby turning into a fireball. Its
almost as good as Yoshi's Story...almost.
Music and Sound 9 out of 10
Kirby Superstar has great tunes compared to most games. The only thing I would fix
is to maybe ad a little more variety. It has a sound tester too. very good sound fx as
well The songs are really catchy.
Game Challenge 6 out of 10
All in all, the game is pretty easy. especially the first game, Spring breeze. I
guess its suppose to be easy because it's the game you start on. Beating the whole
game of Spring breeze is like beating the first level of Milky Way Wishes. Here are
the grades I give each game on challenge:
Spring Breeze: F+
Dynablade: D
The Great Race: C-
The great trail offensive: B+
Showdown: C+ (mini game)
Punchout: C- (mini game)
Blade knight: B-
Milky Way wishes: B
The Arena: A (finally, a REAL challenge)
Game Play-Fun 10 out of 10
10 out of 10!!! This game is really really fun. I think its fun because You can play
nine different games with tons of different powers. With some powers you can even
team up with a friend. The only time this wouldn't be a perfect 10 is after you have beaten
all the games like I have. After you have beaten everything, the arena is still really fun.
Frustration
This game can be really frustrating at times because there is so many hidden things.
The most frustrating is "Great trail Offensive" Because you think you haven't really
beaten the game until you find every last treasure. Even though all you have to do to
beat the game is get to the end.
Overall 8 out of 10
I think this would be a good game to rent. It took me about 2-3 rentals to beat all the
games. It is a very fun game while it lasts. Sure it gets boring, but what game doesn't???
