Justice League-Task Force
Reviewed by Lord Nazerous
If you like the D.C. comic, super heroes or if you liked Street Fighter two, this is
the game for you. The controls are almost exactly the same as the first in the popular
Street Fighter series. So if you knew that games moves...you'll know these.
Graphics 6 out of 10
This was no Donkey Kong Country, but the graphics were fairly decent, and there
wasn't too much "slow-down" rate. The special moves look a little better and a little
worst than Street Fighter 2. Meaning-If Blizzard (creators) had put more time into it,
it would have been a much better game.
Music and Sound 7 out of 10
Music is the typical type, for any Super NES fighter. It's different for each level, and
catchy, NOT annoying. In fact I've caught myself humming the tunes once or twice.
Sound is another story. Yes, it is typical of the fighting game, but yes, it could
have been better. The object of every game is to make a better game, not just a
slightly better clone.
Game Challenge 8 out of 10
After you've learned the ropes, the first difficulty level is easy. But the final
Difficulty level is very, very hard. There is something here for every type a gamer.
Beginner, Novice or Expert! In the higher difficulties you have to think fast and act
fast, there is no time for slacking.
Game Play-Fun 8 out of 10
Every character has a different power. Superman-heat ray vision, flight, and freeze
breathe. Batman-bat-er-rangs, and grappling hook. Flash- super speed, super fast
kicks. Wonder Woman- magic lasso, hovering ability. Other characters include Aquaman,
Green Arrow (my favorite), Despero, Cheeta, and Darkseid. The different moves make
playing the game fun and different each time you play. There's even a story line
game you can play.
Replayability 8 out of 10
With every character comes a different game-play experience. The characters are
pretty well balanced, so you can play the two player mode for a while.
Game Value 7 out of 10
I found my Justice League-Task Force for just under $30. I thought it was a great price
for a great game. Since then the price probably has gone down further, so you don't need
to be rich to get this game.
Overall 8 out of 10
In conclusion, I would recommend this game to any one who likes the DC comic super
heroes, or Street Fighter 2. Where it sometimes seems all to familiar, or just a down
right clone of Street Fighter 2, It has its better points than Street Fighter 2. I highly
recommend this game to anyone. But like I always say. Rent it first, if you can.
Because gamers always have different opinions.
