Jurassic Park 2: The Chaos Continues
Reviewed by Ryan Vishey
I first played this at my cousins house. At first, I wasn't that good.
After a while and after I got it myself it turned out to be a really neat
game. This game would probably be liked most by the people who shooting,
running, and jumping into danger.
Also, the game seems like you would be shooting dinos. But going along
with the storyline, you will be shooting people as well, who are trying,
i guess, to take over the island. I just thought it would be dinos. Putting
the people in kind of ruins the game.
In the game, 2 people can play at once. But the characters you use are
pretty disappointing. You don't even now the names of the characters
you are playing with!
Graphics: 9 out of 10
The dinosaurs look great! While face to face with a T-Rex, it looks just
like the ones in the movies. The Raptors could use a little more work.
Music and Sound: 10 out of 10
Music was good. While wandering around in volcanoes, swamps, mountains
or old basements, the music gave me, the player, the feeling there was
always something behind my character. The music had a tone of suspense
that made the game great.
Game Challenge: 10 out of 10
I took me quite a while for my brother and I to beat the game. On certain
levels, there is a timer so you have to be quick. But on all of the other
levels, it is like a maze. One person can spend about 45 minutes just to
beat 1 level. As far as I know, there is only 1 level that goes in a straight
line, but even that level is pretty hard. This game is good for people who
like a good challenge.
Game Play-Fun: 10 out of 10
Fun. If you want to release some steam, play this game. Who knows how
shooting bizarre creatures/ people can relieve a person of stress. With
many weapons of mass destruction, it is very fun to use them against
people and dinos.
Frustration
Well, after retrying levels due to time running out or being killed by
murderous dinos, I can picture people being frustrated as well. Like I
said before, levels with timers are the hardest. I always beat them with
seconds to spare. However, with 2 players playing, it makes it a little easier.
Replayability: 6 out of 10
This game is quite hard. But after I beat it, I basically knew where everything
was. For most games, it is only good the first time you play it. After you beat
it, it kind of gets boring. That is what happens here. I beat it, and then rarely
play it anymore.
Overall: 9 out of 10
