Final Fantasy 3
Reviewed by Tim
The Super NES is passed up these days. The N64, the PSX, the Sega CD... It
seems that everyone has forgotten about the cool Super Nintendo.
Except for one game. That is Final Fantasy 3. It was made by Squaresoft,
an excellent game company. If you have played Final Fantasy 2, you know
that it was a wonderful game and that the next one in line should do
something impossible... be better than Final Fantasy 2 and go to the top of
the charts until some million new things came out. The graphics are
wonderful, the storyline can be touching, the music is the greatest, the
game rules over all RPGs of this day and age. Really. What's missing from
all those newfangled machinery is an RPG. A game that is exciting, touching,
enlightinging, sad and many more things all at once. Like a game called
Final Fantasy 3.
Graphics 9 out of 10
The graphics in this game are very wonderful. Squaresoft has provided
us with one of the greatest games of all time. The Mode 7 graphics are
used a lot, and it is wonderful. Never mind the fact that all the characters
look a little bit odd, it is easily forgivable. VERY easily forgivable. There
are TONS of very detailed scenes, from an ancient palace to a cave of a
yeti, to a barren desert, to a machine room. It (the graphics) looks a
little strange, especially in the almost-3d-scenes, but the rest is wonderful.
Music and Sound 11 out of 10
The Music in this game RULES! Everything has it's own music! All the
places, the characters, heck, even the Bad Guys have their own Music!
Whenever you fight.. oh... Kefka, his music comes on! He laughs, talks,
and even taunts! There is music everywhere, except for a few scenes,
and it gives a good feeling. Whenever you cast... oh... let's say... Fire, you
can almost feel the burning flames! There is an opera, and the music is
EXTREMLY touching! You can even hear the orchestra playing the music!
Game Challenge 10 out of 10
This game's challenge is very hard. You must be very patient. Unlike other
games, with 4-5 levels, this games takes at least 60 hours min. You got to
build your levels! If you go to one place, you might be killed instantly. You
should take time to get at least 3 levels on everyone before you fight a boss,
otherwise you can hear the defeated music.
Game Play-Fun 12 out of 9
This game is my personal favorite, it is so much fun. There are funny scenes,
touching scenes, normal scenes, and so many more. There's an old kook who
seems crazy but is actually one of your character's fathers. There's a character
who is made fun of because of his "thy, thee, thou" accent. You even get a
Moogle! (whatever that may be.)
Frustration
This game is very frustrating at times, but it is all worth it. It takes a
very long time to play, and sometimes you can almost give up on it because
of a certain boss. But if you get enough levels you can almost never die. Or
so it seems.
Game Value 11 out of 10
This game is a classic it can never be copied. Forget about those $60-$70
price tags, it gives you infinite fun. Play it as much as you want it is
different. Go ahead. Buy it if you can. You will NOT be sorry.
Overall 10 out of 10
This game is great. Even my 5-year-old sister likes it, and so does my grandpa.
It is great for all ages, and you can never be bored of it. Never. Never never
never never never. Never. Its a classic.
