Final Fantasy 3
Reviewed by Mitch Wolfgang
Final Fantasy 3 is a RPG with an attitude! I love it, because of the depth
and size of the game. The plot twists more than a pretzel, and when you
think you are getting ahead, it throws a wrench in the works.
Graphics 9.2 out of 10
The graphics are breathtaking, even with the Super NES capabilities, you
hardly see a pixel. There are literally thousands of different animations
for the objects in the game. A real plus in my book. The number of
different monsters is astounding, I don't think I have seen them all yet.
Music and Sound 9.8 out of 10
WOW, that's the first word that comes to mind when I first played this
game. The music is the kind you hum in the shower. It really excels in
this area. It is even better when played through a good stereo.
Game Challenge 9.9 out of 10
This game is a real challenge to those who have never played an RPG
before. The standard level-building comes into play here, and it really
helps you succeed. This game gets even harder when the world turns
inside out and everyone is spread out again.
Game Play-Fun 10 out of 10
The story depth is what really makes the game fun, I don't think I even
have seen all of the story to the game. There are tons of optional side-quests
you can accomplish to open up new plot twists. The fact that you can
control so many different combinations of characters adds to the fun.
I have many favorite characters and groups that I use.
Frustration
Almost none, but that Kefka really gets on my nerves!
Replayability 8.8 out of 10
This is the only part that slightly lacks. There is less of a replay
value than other RPG's. But there is still the quest to find all of
the different weapons, armor, and relics. Also the Subplots keep
you coming back, so it still receives high marks.
Overall 9.9 out of 10
Final Fantasy 3 is a must buy for any RPG lover, or anyone who likes
a good game. Pick it up if you see it.
