Final Fantasy 3

Buy this game. That's all I can say. Just kidding. Here's a review of why
I feel that Final Fantasy 3 is a nearly flawless role-playing game!
Graphics 9 out of 10
This game's graphics excel in every way possible. Some notable things
are early on, The fight with the Phantom train and then the drop-dead
gorgeous trip down the Serpent Trench. This game uses the Mode 7
effects quite a lot and the results are amazing! The only drawback at
all to the graphics is the fact that the characters are a little deformed
since they are so small, but that little error takes absolutely nothing
away from the game at all! All I can say is, prepare to be amazed!
Music and Sound 10 out of 10
THE MUSIC IS GORGEOUS! The music in this game is so amazing that
Squaresoft has a 3-cd set with all of the music in the game. I
personally own the music cd's and they are amazing! Almost every
situation has a different theme music to it. The bosses have their
own music, the fights have their own music, even the badguys have
their own music! (When Kefka shows up, it always plays his song)
The sound is also amazing! When you cast a fire spell, you can almost
feel the ripple of the fire! The game's music ranges from dark and
mysterious to an actual opera (where you have to perform in without
messing up) to the silly music of meeting an old man who thinks you're
there to fix his clock! Simply amazing.
Game Challenge 10 out of 10
This is the longest game I have ever experienced! This is not one of
those quick games that you can beat in a day with about 4 to 5 levels!
This game takes 60 to 70 hours to complete! (Even more if you want to
get everything!) There are so many puzzles, traps, and enemies that
this game will keep you wanting to come back for more just find out
more about the ever-growing story, which advances each time you beat
a boss. Don't get fooled though, except for the very beginning of the
game, the story is completely non-linear. You can do whatever you
want to do whenever you want to do it! Amazing.
Game Play-Fun 10 out of 10
This game is also incredibly fun! Even when you are stuck someplace,
the answer is usually just around the corner so you want to keep playing
to find it! There are so many fun parts to this game! There is an auction
house, an opera, even a colosseum where you can wager items and fight
monsters to win other items! Tons of fun.
Frustration
This game is amazing, but at times there will be a boss that just
absolutely seems unbeatable! No boss in the game is unbeatable as
long as you raise your levels. YOU MUST RAISE YOUR LEVELS CONSTANTLY.
As much as you may want to just speed through the game and do no
unnecessary fighting, you can not do that. You must fight to build your
levels up. When you level up, you get more strength, more HP's,
and lots of other bonuses specific to the character. That is the only
frustrating part of the game.
Replayability 10 out of 10
I know that most magazines and people have said that games like this
have no replay value because it takes so long to beat them that you
don't want to again. Well not this one. I have played this one through
about 10 to 15 times and still love every second of it. There are so
many parts that you will find yourself wanting to play through the
entire game again just to get to! This game has tons of replay value!
Game Value 10 out of 10
Definitely worth the price. Not only is this game fun, but at times it is
also emotional. There are so many events that take place, and it is
amazing that they have fit this game onto a cartridge! At one point
during the game, the entire world is destroyed along with most everyone
in it and you are forced to rebuild and find your friends! This game is
worth every penny of the 60 to 70 dollar price tag and I advise you to
buy it now!
Overall 10 out of 10
I feel that this game, Final Fantasy 3, is the best game ever made.
Thank you Squaresoft for such a wonderful game. This game is
flawless in almost every way, has amazing graphics, is replayable,
has gorgeous music and a non-linear plot, takes 70 hours to complete,
what more can you ask for? This game is spectacular and is worth
the cost. Buy it.
