Music and Sound 7.5 out of 10
The music for this game is positively wonderful. With heroic music, like Frog's,
to the calm music, like Marle's, to the dark, evil music of Magus. Also, the games
sound effects are breathtaking. The slice of Chrono's sword as it cuts through
the enemy, the spells that are being cast on enemy and ally alike are simply divine.
I remember Frog's giant frog spell, first you hear the frog falling, starting far away
and quiet and then the sound gets louder and louder until finally landing.
Game Challenge 7 out of 10
The game, being an epic (otherwise known as an RPG), was long and exciting. The
first time you play it it is kind of hard, but then the second it seems easy. After
beating the game the easiest and normal way, it is fun to try and get all of the
many endings.
Game Play-Fun 7.8 out of 10
This is an incredibly fun game for epic (RPG) lovers, people who like all games, and
people who hate most epics or just like some other kind of category better alike.
This game is fun from getting caught up in the story, to the battles. Never have I
seen a game more fun than this
Replayability 10 out of 10
This game was and still is fun to replay over and over again. With the almost endless
amount of endings, you never get bored playing it. Also playing the same ending over
again is fun because of all the things you can do, learn, and get before the end of the
game. There is no game I know of that is as fun to replay as this game, Chrono Trigger.
Game Value 10 out of 10
This game is defiantly worth the price. Long, interesting, and adventerouse, yet it
seems so short and calm at some point. If I didn't already own it I would buy most
defiantly buy it. With all it's wonderful attributes, (sound, fun, challenging, ect.) I
literally couldn't resist but to buy it.
Character Background 8 out of 10
The backgrounds of the many characters in this epic are fantastic. My personnel
favorite was (and still is for that matter!) Frog's (or should I say Glenn's buy or
play the game to find out what I mean) background, he was a great swordsman who
refused his good friend Cyrus to join the army, I don't want to give it away for anyone
so I won't tell the rest of it. All of the backgrounds in this game are much different
than Frog's, but still marvellous in there own ways.
