Graphics: Nice graphics. Everything is dark and dreary, and it was
pulled off incredibly well. There's a lot of detail in animation and
characters, and the background is just incredible to look at. However,
sometimes an enemy or background just doesn't seem to fit in with
the quality of the game.
Sound: Music fits in with the mood most the time, but not always.
It's also not long or loud enough for the game, though the SFX is nice.
Gameplay: A different type of sidescroller. There are many levels and
things you have to do to get to the end. Controls are also original in
that it's more like you're telling the guy what to do. He doesn't fire
right away and must draw a weapon first, and he jumps just like you
would in real life. It's also very fun, and original, though I like
Flashback better.
Hardness factor: Pretty hard. Enemies can get strong and you'll have to
use your wits to get through puzzles and hard enemies. Falling off a
cliff in the beginning may be a reality to younger players who don't
adapt to controls of a game quickly.
Overall: 7.5 out of 10. A really good game. The graphics are usually
incredible, the sound also usually fits the mood of the game, and the
gameplay and controls are neat and original. A very good game, one
you will definitely enjoy playing if you like good, hard games. However,
not for younger or inexperienced gamers.
