Graphics 8 out of 10
Very good graphics for the characters, and great special effects for the
weapons. There is great detail with things like creases or shadows. Compared
to games like NFL Quarterback Club and NBA Jam Tournament Edition, these
graphics are awesome. I have six games, and besides Donkey Kong Country,
this is my second best game in terms of graphics, along with Super Mario Kart.
Music and Sound 7 out of 10
Great sound, and although it gets annoying after a long time, pretty good
music and catchy. The sound for the weapons is awesome, and the sound
for basically everything else is close to awesome. Again, the sound is
second only to Donkey Kong Country out of my games. It's a great game for sound.
Game Challenge 7.8 out of 10
Just your basic defeat-the-enemies-and-beat-the-levels-so-you-can-beat-the-boss
type of game, but much less boring because the creators gave it a big twist.
Unlike those games where you kill the bad-guys by jumping on their heads,
this game has realistic weapons to fight realistic people. You have weapons
like smoke bombs and tranquilizer guns to slow down or push back your enemy.
Game Play-Fun 5.9 out of 10
The game is OK. but not great when it comes to fun. After a while it gets
boring, but you can get half-an-hour to an hour of fun at time before you
lose interest. Then, after a break, it's more fun again. Not that great when
it comes to fun, but defiantly not my least favorite or something to laugh at.
Frustration
One very frustrating thing about this game is that you can't save. If you
die, BOOOM!!! that's it, you have to start all over. Also, when on two-player
mode, you share each other's lives, so, for example, if you both have six
lives, then one of you dies, you then both have five lives, instead of just
the player who died losing a life.
Characters 8.5 out of 10
The creators were very creative on making the characters for the game.
You must, on the first level, fight these crazy inmates that are pretty
easy. On the second level, you have to fight thugs, which are harder. On
the third, clowns. I can't say after that, because that's as far as I've
gotten. But there are other characters in the game I know, like a Riddler
Thug, and these girls called Sugar and Spice.
Modes 9 out of 10
There are two modes, Game Mode and Training Mode. Game Mode is the
regular game that I've been talking about. 1 or 2 players, easy, intermediate,
hard. Training Mode is just where you fight in a little area. No object, just
like a boxing match. Every time you win, it gets harder. 1 player vs. com.,
2 players vs. com., or player vs. player.
Overall 8.7 out of 10
It is a pretty good game, not my fav. or least fav. It's a so-so, basically
just regular. I'm glad I own it anyway, it passes time and, as I said, is good
for about 1 hour at a time. My advice is that you rent it first, don't just
buy it, because there is a fair chance that you won't like it even though
you probably will.
