WCW vs. NWO World Tour
Reviewed by Jordan Montgomery
I'm Jordan Montgomery. I would like to tell you about a fantastic game
for the Nintendo 64 called WCW vs. NWO World Tour. This game has many
features that I rate about 8 to 9 out of 10. The Graphics on this are
awesome, which I'll be explaining further, The gameplay is great, and
there are a lot of secrets and hidden characters you can find. This game
is one of the best!!
Graphics 9 out of 10
When I played this for my first time, I was amazed at how good the
graphics on this game were. They were Awesome!! This is just my
opinion about this game. Some others may think it stinks. But my
opinion about this game is that it is, already stated, one of the best
games created for the Nintendo 64. The background, compared to how
it would look in real life is the same. You can even do backflips and
other special moves that are great as well.
Music and Sound 8 out of 10
When I played this, I was also amazed at how great the music and
sound were. They are GREAT!! It was hard to decide weather the graphics
or the music and sound were better. The graphics, music, and sound have
to be good in a game to even enjoy it. I know that's what everyone just
about looks for in an N64 game, the Graphics, Music, and Sound. That's
what I go for in every game.
Game Challenge 8 out of 10
I had to admit when I played the game, it was pretty challenging,
then again, this is just my opinion of the game. This game is challenging
and could be rated a perfect 10, but there was something that it lacked
in this matter. I can't really pinpoint it, but I know it lacked something.
Mostly every game is easy for me, but the fact that I had to learn so
many special moves, get used to the controls, and learn the strategies
for everyone I fought, that was enough for me. So that's why I rated the
challenge an 8 of 10
Game Play-Fun 9 out of 10
This game may be challenging, but is sure is a lot of fun. Between the
graphics, challenge, music, and sound, I always look forward to playing
it whenever I get some time. I enjoyed playing someone like Eric Bichoff
and beating the crap out of them with someone like the giant, or Lex Luger.
That's something that can't be controlled in real, professional wrestling.
Everyone knows that once Bichoff lost to Larry Zbysko, he would never
wrestle again. So that's what makes it fun. Let's face it, if a game wasn't
fun, why would you want to play it?
Frustration
When I played WCW vs NWO World Tour, I got frustrated some times.
It's okay to get frustrated once in a while. Like I always say, Learn
from your mistakes. That's what I always do. When I can't beat one of
my opponents, I might get mad a little, but at least I can practice more
and maybe beat him with time. I have to admit, this was the only game
that frustrated me pretty much. Now it's a cakewalk.
Game Value 9 out of 10
I think this game is worth the price that it is offered for. I see it all over
the place for 50, 60, and $70.00. I got it for 60.00 and now, like I stated
before, enjoy and look forward to playing it when I have free time. Some
stores might try to take advantage of this game's rating and try to earn
some extra bucks by raising the price. My point of this is that WCW vs. NWO
World Tour is worth the price it's offered for in stores.
Overall 10 out of 10
My conclusion of this spectacular game is this: Of all the games for
N64 that I've played between Mortal Kombat Mythologies, Bomberman 64,
and more, this fits the place in my mind of the top 10 games. The
Graphics rule, the Music and Sound are great, the gameplay is awesome,
and I believe that the game is worth it's price. I give this awesome game
an A+!! Awesome!!
