Twisted Edge Extreme Snowboarding

First of all, Twisted Edge Extreme Snowboarding is obviously a snow boarding
game and it is really cool when you first try it. Yeah, the graphics are
awesome, but still, the game play and fun factor bring the score down a
little. But all-around the game is pretty fun but gets old really, really
fast. Twisted Edge comes from Midway and Kamco. Midway and Kamco could have
done a way better job of Twisted Edge. I've heard that Twisted Edge would be
awesome. But their predictions have failed. It is not TOO awesome. I have
also heard that Twisted Edge would be so good, it might be just as good
(maybe better) than the excellence 1080 Snowboarding has brought us. But
enough talk about that. Let's get down to business.
Graphics: Like I have said earlier, the graphics are awesome. The
snow boarders were real smooth. The plows and other obstacles in the way of
the snow boarders' paths were pretty sweet too. There really isn't really
anything else to say about the graphics except that the graphics were
superb. And, in some PSX games like warzone, in the intro, they have real
people in it. Well, in Twisted Edge, they have a Similar thing. It sort of
looks like real people snow boarding and it is a lot like the cool boarders series.
Sound: The sound is good except the soundtrack they have for it. There is
only seven different songs that you can pick from and they also get old real
fast. As for the rest of the sounds, like the sound affects, they are good,
unlike everything else they have in this whole game. In Twisted Edge Extreme
Snowboarding, the sound affects are the best types of sound in Twisted Edge.
So I guess that settles that for the sound part.
Control: The controlling takes precious time to get used to. And the
controlling for this peticular game is uncontrollable. The turning is
terrible. Especially compared to 1080's legacy of controlling. The rest of
the controlling is fine. I don't quite remember this games controlling very
well. But still I remember that the turning is not good at all. And the fact
that it takes the longest time to get used to. Oh, yeah, I forgot one part
of the controlling. The tricks are impossible. Very. The controlling of
tricks you will try to accomplish, is impossible. But with lots and lots of
practice, I am sure you will get used to it in a day or two.
Fun Factor: Down to the last straw, Twisted Edge Extreme Snowboarding is
kind of fun, at least it is fun for the first couple weeks (or two weeks,
who knows?)! When I rented this game finally, I thought it would be the best
game ever, like some people have said that have never tried it, and I was
right, when I first tried it. The fun factor is like half: one out of two:
1/2: etc. This game is poor when it comes to fun. It is probably worth
around at least a couple rentals or so.
