The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Graphics 9 out of 10
The graphics are really neat. Especially magic, fire, and how time passes
from day to night. Enemies are well designed, and people are detailed
right down to the shoes on their feet, and bows in their hair. The cinema
scenes are defiantly the best in any game.
Music and Sound 9.5 out of 10
The only problem with the Sound Affects is when you are down to 1 1/2
hearts and the high pitched beeping starts. Otherwise the music is some
of the best I've ever heard in a Nintendo Game. From the brilliant and catchy
Ocarina tunes, to the chanting and humming in the Fire Temple.
Game Challenge
I would have to say it depends on how skillful you are in Nintendo 64 games.
It may take you a week as it did me, or 2 months, as it did my friend Luke.
I found it too easy which is why I dropped the overall score so low.
Game Play-Fun 9.4 out of 10
As you figure out how to beat bosses and solve puzzles this game is great
fun. You promise you will have a great time riding your horse, diving off
cliffs, bowling, scoring in horseback archery, and capturing poes. This
game is defiantly FUN! I promise you!
Frustration
I don't mean to brag, but I am very good at Nintendo games, I have been playing
them since I was five. I didn't have much trouble beating Zelda 64. There was
only one thing I got extremely stuck on which turned out to be really obvious.
Anyway if you are a really good thinker when it comes to video games Zelda
won't be too frustrating. Sometimes the puzzles are so easy to figure out you
wouldn't even expect it to be the solution.
Replayability 3 out of 10
There isn't much you can do once you beat this game but go back and
beat it again. The more you play the easier it gets. It actually gets boring
after a while. There is not really anything useful you could have missed
before you beat the game. There is a fishing pond that can keep you playing though.
Game Value 6 out of 10
Is Zelda worth the price, hmm. This may sound sort of silly, but if you
aren't too good at Nintendo 64 games Zelda will be very challenging and worth the
price. If you are very skilled at Nintendo 64 games I would almost say you will
defiantly beat the game in about two weeks. If you want to spend 60 dollars
on a game that lasts you a week (like it did to me) go ahead and empty
out your wallet.
Overall 5.5 out of 10
Zelda 64 is amazing... very amazing. But I found it a little easy. If you are
looking for a very cool game, believe me, Zelda 64 is the one for you. But if
you are umm, more gifted when it comes to Nintendo, Zelda 64 is not much
of a challenge. I admit, owning this game and beating this game feels great
and it is a great experience if you love RPG's; but if you are very skilled
with Nintendo 64, don't get your hopes up if you are looking for a challenge.
Once you beat the game there isn't much more to do. Anyway, if looking for a
challenge, stick with a game like Goldeneye, or The Legend of Zelda for the NES.
