Graphics: Duke Nukem 64 (A port of Duke Nukem 3D for the PC) graphic's
aren't that great. Everything has a slight blur to it and that makes
everything look unrealistic. The game has sort of a dark feel to it and
that can be a burden at times. However, the game isn't that bad, so if you
can look past the graphics you will really enjoy this game.
Sound: The sound is okay, you really have to love Duke Nukem saying 'Come
get some' and other catch phrases. Also, the gun's, enemies, and other
things sound affects aren't that bad either. The music is catchy and
enjoyable; it really sets the mood.
Gameplay: A standard First Person Shooter, however it is one of the best
FPS's for the N64. It plays almost exactly like it does on the PC, though a
little more jerky. The guns in the game are each perfect for it's own situation
and they have much originality to them.
Hardness factor: The game itself is pretty hard. You run around and try to get
to the end of the level while surviving against enemy attacks and traps along
the way. Some of the bosses are hard and you'll need a lot of ammo to take
them down. Luckily, there is a hardness setting for this game.
Overall: 7 out of 10, nice fun game with a few problems that you'll more
than likely play over and over.
