Chameleon Twist
Reviewed by Jordan Montgomery
First of all, this is a fantastic game! I love it!! Davy, the chameleon,
(or one of the characters you would choose) follows a rabbit into a
magical pot. Suddenly he is no longer in his world, but a totally
strange one. He has also transformed into some kind of alien, but
still has his long chameleon tongue. You, Davy, or another character,
have to then use your tongue to survive in the bizarre world and find
a means of escape.
This game is really fun and cool. You may think it is for little kids once
you first look at it. But it isn't. That's the same thing I thought, but
when I got to playing it, I realized that a little kid probably couldn't even
complete the training mode! With your tongue, you can swing from poles
or other things, pole vault, use it as a grappling hook, and to snatch up
enemies. I'd recommend this awesome game to anyone who is looking for
a good 3D adventure game.
Graphics 9 out of 10
When I played this game, I noticed that the graphics were flawless!
They are awesome! The graphics, Music, sound, and gameplay are what
everyone looks for in a good N64 title. I know that because I'm one of
them. The graphical background actually looks like a jungle, or whatever
you might picture it as. But overall, the graphics rule and that's why I
rated the graphics on this excellent game a 9.
Music and Sound 9 out of 10
I grouped the music and sound into two categories. That way I can explain
them better.
Music: The music in this game are awesome. When I played this game for
my first time, I was amazed at how good the music was. It has a ton of
different music groups for each level and each of them were stunning!
Sound: As I played through the game, I realized that the sound in the game
was pretty cool, but the one thing that continuously annoyed me every time
it happened was the "BOING!" when you jump. It tried my patience, made
me lose concentration, and, like above, continuously annoyed me.
Game Challenge 9 out of 10
When I first played this, the training mode was pretty hard, but as I
learned, it became easier and easier until it's a piece of cake. The
main game, however, was a piece of work. I had continuous problems
trying every special move like a pole vault. I hated it when I couldn't
get a certain move to work where you had to use it. Finally, I got the
hang of it, and now it's just trial and error. Most of the time I can
complete a certain move where it's required, and sometimes I goof.
Overall, I give the game challenge a 9, like above.
Game Play-Fun 10 out of 10
As I played through this, it was awesome. I enjoyed, every time I
had spare time, playing it. Now, every time I have a chance, I play
it. It is fun, and like I stated, is an awesome 3D adventure game. I
recommend this game to everyone who is looking for a good adventure
game in 3D. The gameplay and how much fun it is also plays an important
role in which games people buy. Let's face it- a game can have awesome
graphics, cool music and sound, but can have complicated controls and
had no fun in it at all. A game needs to at least have some fun in it, or
what's the use of buying it?
Game Value 9 out of 10
I'll admit, this game is worth the price it's offered for. I used to think
that this game wasn't worth the price, and thought it would be terrible
when I first bought it. But over time, I got used to how the controls
were set, and how much fun it came to be. Now I love this spectacular
game and play it now whenever I have a chance. I know whoever buys
this game will not regret that they bought it. This game is worth the
price of a simple $60 to $70.00.
Overall 10 out of 10
I had to admit to everything. The graphics were awesome, which I thought
they would be terrible. The music and sound are great, and the gameplay
and fun are cool. This game is, overall awesome and I recommend that
everyone should at least play it. You'll never regret it. Overall, I rate this
total game a 10 of 10. Awesome!!
