Bust-A-Move '99 is yet another addition to the Bust-A-Move series.
This game is so addictive and fun that it has been made for the SNES,
N64, Wonderswan, GBC, GB, Playstation... However it's popularity has
decreased sharply over the years. Who knows? Maybe we'll end up
seeing this on some next-gen consoles. Anyway, the simplicity of this
game is one of its greatest prospects. You control a bubble-shooter at
the bottom of your screen and shoot different color bubbles up to the
top where other bubbles are. 3-in-a-row makes the bubbles disappear,
and you keep going until all of the gems are gone. In story mode, you go
against a computer-controlled character (Makes the game that much harder)
and different rules apply. While the graphics are okay (Nothing great)
they pretty much fit in well. The music and voices, however, get annoying
real fast. Good thing the gameplay more than makes up for it. If you're
ever bored, and you have some money to spare, this puzzle game is
definitely worth getting.
