X-Man

Graphics: 3.5
The graphics in X-Men are pretty dumb. The animation is extremely sub-par
and the backgrounds are very dull. There is no eye candy to be seen here.
Sound: 5
Many NES games have catchy music, but not this one. The music, although
not horrible, is nothing to write home about. After you turn your NES off,
none of the music will stick in your head. As for the sound effects, they
are very boring and lame.
Play Control: 4
The play control is sorta jerky and not very responsive. Some of this is
due to the fact that your character has jerky movements to start with.
Also, hit detection is very poor, and this means you'll have to keep
pluggin' away at that controller to kill some enemies.
Fun Factor: 1.5
Ugh. This is where the game TOTALLY fails. This game is so boring and
tedious that you may actually fall asleep while playing. Not to mention
moments of extreme frustration and confusion that even further
detract from the fun.
Challenge: 8.5
Well, this is something that the game has- challenge. But, be warned,
much of this is due to extreme frustration and anger. I think the point
of the game is to find keys, but I've never found any keys (at least I
THINK I haven't) or anything, making the game pretty pointless to me.
Replay Value: 1.5
Once you've actually played this, you won't be rushing to put it back in
your NES any time soon. Most game players will be so disgusted that
they may actually try to destroy it. Well, at least you'll get some
enjoyment out of destroying it.
Overall Score: 2
One word here: AVOID. If you see it for sale somewhere, just walk right
by and don't even THINK about buying it. If the publishers made it awesome
(but too easy) arcade game, then there would have been good things to talk
about. But, they didn't.
