T and C Surf Company
Reviewed by Kyle
If you dig surfing and the beach as much as I do, then you want to live
it all the time. But if the weather is bogus, you gotta get your fill
some how, right man? That's where T&C Surf Company comes into play.
Graphics 9 out of 10
The graphics are way awesome. There are 4 main characters and
they all look different. The surfing scene actually look real for the NES,
and the skate boarding is just as cool. The backgrounds make the game
though. They make you feel like you are surfing or skating right in
Malibu. Kudos to Nintendo.
Music and Sound 8 out of 10
The music in this game is pretty cool. It sounds like 60's surf rock
which is way rad. The background sounds are the best, though. The
sounds when you wipe out are cool, and the bird and wave noises are
so real, that if you closed your eyes, then you would feel like you are there.
Game Challenge 5 out of 10
The skate boarding is way easy dude, but the surfing is tough.
Skate boarding, you just kind of skate your little sunglasses dude
through a course, and finish with a good time. The surfing though,
is tougher than really life. Bummer. It's not like real surfing, you
have to get your guy to balance on the wave without moving. It
takes time, but after a while, you'll be surfing like a pro.
Game Play-Fun 10 out of 10
This is where this game kicks. The game play is way fun. Not as
actually fun as surfing, but for a rainy day at the beach, it's
almost as good. It's one player but you can have two people there
too. Definatly more fun if you can get one of your surfing buddies
to play.
Frustration
The only frustrating part is figuring the surfing. Once you get
that, your golden.
Replayability 10 out of 10
This is easily one of my favorite games for NES. You can't stop
playing it once you get going. Have fun putting the controller
down, when the sun comes out.
Game Value 10 out of 10
I payed 95 cents for it at this bargain store and it was defiantly
worth the price of admission. Whatever you payed, it would be
definatly worth it man.
Overall 9.9 out of 10
In conclusion, this is one fine game for the NES. You can't ever go
wrong with a surfing game. NO single came will ever come close to
this masterful piece of surfing art.
