Graphics: They improved the graphics in this game definitely. It's kind
of weird since this game is basically the same as the first, but they
went with a whole different style. Enemies still look kind of lame,
but there's a lot more detail and everything looks a bit darker.
Sound: The music was also improved by a little bit. Some of the songs
are nice, some aren't, but the quality of them is very good. They even
improved upon the sound effects, if only by a little bit.
Gameplay: This game is the sequel to Power Blade (duh) but is still
just as basic and dull. It's basically the same game as the first; they
just made the controls harder and made it so that there are a few more
cool enemies. You still throw a boomerang around, choose your level and
must beat a boss at the end, and also can get powerups that increase
your range and number of boomerangs, just like the first. It's pretty boring
and just a tiny step up from the first game.
Hardness factor: This game was actually easier than the first. They
pretty much wanted to get rid of all of the pits like in the first one
and made it a little more realistic when you jump.
Overall: 4.5 out of 10. This game was a tiny step up from the original.
It's still the basic premise, but it has more depth than the first. Barely.
