Graphics: 5.5 out of 10
Sound: 5 out of 10
Gameplay: 6.5 out of 10
Hardness factor: 7 out of 10
Overall: 6 out of 10
Graphics: Pretty good graphics, barely a step up from the first one.
There isn't a lot of detail, but you recognize everything on screen, and
also the color scheme is okay. Maybe it's just a little too bright.
Sound: Music is okay, nothing really cool about it but it's not hard on
the ears.
Gameplay: A classic (and used to be very popular) game that they
definitely should have made in 3D on later systems, since I think it
would have been pulled off pretty well. You play as a kid on a bike and
must throw newspapers in people's mailboxes so you will get more
subscribers and earn more cash. Along the way there are things that
get in your way, like dogs, ghosts, angry guys throwing tires, and other
everyday people. It's actually a very fun game, though the novelty of it
wears thin eventually.
Hardness factor: I've never really beaten this game, though I've
played it a lot. It does get very hard later in the game since there
are more enemies and they get very fast.
Overall: 6 out of 10. A classic game that I highly recommend you
play (this or the SNES version). While it doesn't have the best graphics
or sound, the gameplay definitely makes up for this.
