Gameplay: 3.5 out of 10
Hardness factor: 5.5 out of 10
Overall: 4 out of 10
Graphics: The graphics were okay. There was usually a nice color scheme,
but the graphics weren't really original in this game. The quality of the
graphics were kind of low too, especially in the soldiers.
Sound: The music in this game was okay. While they definitely could have
worked on the quality, the songs were very fitting to the whole war
theme. Sound effects were pretty nice too and really helped you stay
alert since each type of enemy makes a different sound when firing.
Gameplay: This game was a first person scrolling shooter. That's where
it's in your view, and the screen scrolls to the left or right. You must
move a crosshair around and shoot at all of the soldiers, tanks, helicopters,
and also bosses when you get to them or else they will hurt you. This game
was lacking compared to most FPSS'. The dynamics and controls were way
off. While it was nice that enemies were highlighted when you put your
crosshair over them, it didn't make up for the fact that you could shoot
to the far right or left of an enemy and still kill him. Not only that, but
the controls were way too sensitive. Press right once and your crosshair
goes over about an inch to an inch and a half. Very annoying.
Hardness factor: I had mixed feelings about this game, mainly because of
the bad controls. But, once you get past them, this game is pretty normal
compared to most first person scrolling shooters.
Overall: 4 out of 10. While there are a ton of first person scrolling
shooters that are better than this game, there are also a ton that are
worse. I really didn't mind playing this game, but I didn't have a whole
lot of fun playing it either.
