Hardness factor: 6 out of 10
Overall: 7 out of 10
Graphics: The graphics are very chibi-like (super deformed, they look
sort of like kids) but they are very detailed. They're pretty much as
good as you can get for the NES.
Sound: Sound is probably the worst part of this game. It's just very
unimpressive and they definitely should have worked at it. Sound
effects are nice, but they tend to get old.
Gameplay: Probably one of the best and most overlooked beat 'em ups
for the NES. I'm not sure if this or the one for the SNES came out first,
but they are both very good games. The storyline in both the games are
basically the same, so maybe they were released around the same time.
Anyway, the dynamics of this beat 'em up are cool, and there's also a
little experience system in the game where your skills improve.
Hardness factor: Not too hard, even the last boss is pretty simple.
Still, you will definitely need to save up your guys for the 2nd to the
last and very last level. You'll get swamped by enemies.
Overall: 7 out of 10. A very good game for the NES, it's a wonder you
don't (or didn't for that matter) hear much about it. If you like beat 'em
ups, this is the game for you.
