Graphics: Very nice graphics for the NES. Most enemies are pretty basic
looking, but the bosses look pretty cool. They're no Mega Man X, but each
level's enemies fit the level and mood of the game.
Sound: The music is also pretty good, even though the sound effects are
better. I liked the music from 4 just a bit more, but the songs were
still very well done.
Gameplay: Almost every hard core gamer knows Mega Man. It's a popular
sidescroller where you inherit the powers of the bosses you beat (even
though usually it isn't the weapon you want) and use it to beat other
bosses and get to a few more places. This one is probably my favorite
of the Mega Man games and maybe of the series'. It's basically the same
as the other ones, but the dynamics were done a little bit differently
and the enemies are better.
Hardness factor: Even though enemies won't cause you much grief, some
bosses are pretty hard. If you don't have the right power to beat them,
then you'll have to work on your dodging skills.
Overall: 7 out of 10. A very nice game and one of the more popular gaming
series. If you've never played Mega Man, I highly recommend it.
