Graphics: The graphics were okay in this game. There was a nice color
scheme and at first there were some pretty nice looking enemies.
However, after a few levels, the enemies look repetitive and are usually
just reshaded enemies from the first few levels. The quality is pretty nice too.
Sound: The music in this game was okay. The quality wasn't bad, but the
music tried to set up the theme and mood of the game. Sound effects
were pretty good in this game, though a few gunshots seemed to be missing.
Gameplay: A scrolling shooter. The game is in your eyes and the screen
automatically scrolls. You move a crosshair around on the screen and
try to kill all of the enemies before they get to you. This game was okay,
but it stopped being original after the first level. There really isn't a lot
of realism to the game, and there aren't any cool elements. The only things
you can really get are more bullets for your gun and grenades that kill most
enemies with one hit. Probably the worst part about this game though, was
the controls. The crosshair just didn't move as smoothly or as slowly
as it should have.
Hardness factor: I didn't play this game too much since I'm not a huge
fan of this type of genre, but the impression I got from the first few
levels was that this game was going to be just a little bit harder than
most. The only times I ever died were at the bosses.
Overall: 5 out of 10. This game is pretty simple. I didn't really enjoy it
too much, but there might be someone out there that likes this genre.
It's better than Generation X, though.
