Gameplay: 6 out of 10
Hardness factor: 6 out of 10
Overall: 5.5 out of 10
Graphics: The graphics are really poor. While some of the enemies look
pretty neat, a lot of them just look undefiled and not thought out. The
quality is pretty low in this game and games with low graphic quality
but high detail don't look good at all.
Sound: The music in this game is very bad. While I bet if they used
different instruments and improved the quality, the music would have
been very nice. Unfortunately that is not the case for this game. Sound
effects aren't really any better either.
Gameplay: This game is a sidescroller that has some RPG elements in it.
It's just a basic sidescroller where you kick instead of hit, but you can
find hidden treasure chests (one hidden and one automatically give to you)
that let you have different powers (shooting flames, regaining life, ect).
Also, you have magic points in this game that you must regain by
collecting certain symbols. In order to get those symbols you must
destroy an enemy. After you kill that enemy, three random symbols
fly out that do different things. Also, this game utilizes experience
points that give you more power and defense. However, you must
collect the right symbol (a shield) in order to bring it up. This game
is actually pretty fun though the controls are pretty bad.
Hardness factor: This game was a little bit harder than most NES games.
The controls aren't the best out there and every once in a while I missed
a hit that should have connected.
Overall: 5.5 out of 10. This game was pretty cool. While there was
definitely some room for improvement, I still found it enjoyable. If
you like sidescrollers and RPGs, you just might want to check this game out.
