Graphics: 4 out of 10
Sound: 3 out of 10
Gameplay: 3.5 out of 10
Hardness factor: 3.5 out of 10
Overall: 3.5 out of 10
Graphics: The graphics are okay. You'll recognize the characters from the
cartoon (except most of the enemies) but they don't look exactly like they
do in the cartoon. There's a lot of room for improvement in detailing, but
they pretty much got the colors right in this game.
Sound: The music was pretty bad. It was annoying and it almost made me
want to mute the game. The quality of the sound was also just very bad.
They should have just used the music from the cartoon.
Gameplay: This game was an okay sidescroller. You play as George Jetson
and you make your way through a linear level. You can pick up boxes in
this game (just like in the one for the Gameboy) and throw them at
enemies, and you can also jump a bit, but besides that there really isn't
much else to this game. Also, you can collect stars and pellets from
some of the boxes that you remove. This game wasn't really that fun.
After you've played the first level, the game just starts to get boring.
Hardness factor: Even though the cartoon was made in the 60s (I guess),
this game was geared towards a younger audience. This game just
wasn't very hard for me to beat.
Overall: 3.5 out of 10. This game wasn't anything special. It was just
a pretty boring game and I probably gave it a better score than I should
have since I occasionally used to watch the cartoon.
