Graphics: The graphics in this game were a little on the weak side, but
otherwise okay. Instead of a gritty game like most Army games are,
this one takes on a childish approach. All of the enemies in this game
are chibi-style (they look super deformed. Almost childlike in appearance).
The color scheme was okay.
Sound: The music was okay. Patriotic in a way but also adventurous.
Definitely SNK type music. However, the sound quality and the instruments
used weren't the best choice. There were a lot of nice sound effects in this game.
Gameplay: This game was pretty good. In this game you pilot a tank, but
it's in an overhead view. You must run over, bomb, or shoot at soldiers
and you must also dodge their weapons. Also, there are other vehicles
around that you must take care of. At the end of every level is a boss,
usually a large vehicle. What I really didn't like about this game though,
was that you have to hold down shoot in order to turn the turret. So,
even if you press it once and go left, you'll start shooting in that
direction which is really frustrating. The game would have been so
much better if they had fixed this.
Hardness factor: Pretty hard, but there are a few factors that they
could have changed that would have made this game easier. For example,
you move slowly and you can't turn your turret easily.
Overall: 4.5 out of 10. This game was okay, but it could have been better.
I bet this game was released in the arcades first and they had a hard
time porting it over.
