Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Overall: 3.5 out of 10
Graphics: The graphics are just a bit below average compared to most
games. Most characters look blank (but there are plenty of characters
in this game), the cutscenes are good, scenery is bland, and animation
is very low. Also, the color scheme is pretty bad, though not as bad as
some games since this game was released 5 years after the NES was
first released.
Sound: There's nothing worse than Indiana Jones music. Nah, it's just
that they did a very poor job of emulating the music in the movie and
the sound quality is very low in this game which makes it twice as
hard to listen to. Sound effects are often basic and repetitive.
Gameplay: A sidescroller that stars Indiana Jones. This game has a few
modes of play (puzzles) in the game and different areas you can travel
to, but for most of the game it's just a sidescroller. You run around
trying to find the boss of the level or object you need and must hit,
kick, or jump kick people in order to kill them. Not a ton of originality
in this and battles are way too fast and aren't precise. You'll blindly
press the A and B buttons while running away in order to get some
cheap hits in. Controls were okay, though there was room for improvement.
Also, even though I'm guessing the story is sort of like the movie, it
really doesn't tie in too much to the actual game.
Hardness factor: This game was sort of hard. Controls and the fighting
part of this game were pretty hard and some of the puzzles were very
hard too (Like having to arrange a mixed up picture by moving squares
one at a time.yuck).
Overall: 3.5 out of 10. This game is definitely not one of my favorites.
You'll get sick of it too, no matter how much you liked the movie.
However, if you want lame puzzles, storyline, and gameplay, you'll
definitely want to look into this game.
