Overall: 6 out of 10
Graphics: The graphics are very basic, like a very old arcade game.
There's not very much detail and the colors are a little murky, but
things look pretty much original.
Sound: Sound is pretty much vacant throughout the game for both sound
effects and music. It was a very early game for the NES, so it definitely
has its problems.
Gameplay: A pretty cool game. You play as an Ice Climber (Yes, from
Super Smash Bros. Melee) and make your way to the top of the level. You
can hit enemies and ice with your mallet, and you must break ice blocks
above your head by jumping into them. It's very hard, especially later in
the game, since icicles fall from the top, you have to jump on moving
blocks, and enemies with ice blocks fill in holes that you've made above.
Did I mention you can't control your jump in the air? It has its problems,
but it's a pretty fun classic game, like Excitebike.
Hardness factor: Pretty hard in the later levels, but at first you'll have
little problems. It will get frustrating.
Overall: 6 out of 10. A pretty good game, but you have to be very skilled
to get to the higher levels (unfortunately, this game just keeps looping).
