Overall: 3.5 out of 10
Graphics: The graphics in this game are of a very low quality. Everything
looks very cartoony and a too bright and the 'enemies' in this game don't
have any original aspects or even look semi-lifelike. You really wouldn't
guess this from the title screen.
Sound: The music in this game isn't too bad. The quality is just a little
below average, but the songs are too cartoony, just like the graphics are.
I didn't think there were nearly enough sound effects in this game.
Gameplay: This game is supposedly based on a movie, and if the movie is
anything like this game is, I'm glad I've never seen it. In this sidescroller,
you play as some short guy who can't jump and are supposed to make your
way to the end of a level. Along the way, you must beat up various enemies
by throwing balls at them. What I really hated about the enemies is that
they are usually just dogs and other animals, so it makes the game look
incredibly dumb. Anyway, there are a small variety of puzzles, most of
that just have you move blocks around so you can jump over a wall.
Controls are also very bad. Hudson can't jump, run, or even hit that well.
Hardness factor: I really thought this game was pretty hard. The controls
are horrendous and unresponsive, you can't jump, your weapon sucks,
and you have to pause the game to see how much life you have left. Also,
there are some things that hurt you but you won't understand why (flashing
lights on the first level for example).
Overall: 3.5 out of 10. This game was definitely made quickly like all
games that are based after movies. There wasn't one thing in this game
I liked so there is no way I'd recommend this game.
