Graphics: The graphics in this game were just a bit below average. There
just weren't any enemies in the game I liked, there wasn't enough detail
in anything, and the color scheme was way too bright.
Sound: The music is even worse than the sound. You get mediocre 'adventure'
music and low quality sound effects. They could have at least been original.
Gameplay: This game is pretty bad. It's like some company decided they
wanted to combine Commando and Contra and then proceeded in failing
miserably. It's in the overhead view like Commando is, but characters are
much bigger and look sort of like Contra. The screen scrolling is lagged,
which they probably thought looked cool but just gets in the way of
gameplay. Also, you can only shoot in 8 different directions so you'll have
to move around a bit to get in the right position to shoot at an enemy. This
game just doesn't have the originality or lastability that Commando has.
Hardness factor: This game is a little bit harder than it should be because
of the controls, but besides that is about how hard most NES games are.
Overall: 3.5 out of 10. I didn't like this game. It just seems like a cheap
copy of two otherwise great games. They could have at least taken the
best aspects of those games instead of the worst.
