Graphics: 5.5 out of 10
Sound: 3.5 out of 10
Gameplay: 3.5 out of 10
Hardness factor: 6.5 out of 10
Overall: 4 out of 10
Graphics: The graphics weren't that bad for most of the game. The color
scheme was off and most (if not all) of the enemies were just blobby looking.
However, I kind of liked the view of the game.
Sound: The music was pretty bad. In fact, you'll probably recognize the map
music right away. Anyway, most of the music sounds similar and the sound
quality is just very repetitive.
Gameplay: This game is pretty interesting. It's like you're looking in back
of a spaceship and enemies come towards you. Also, you can only move up
on the side of the screen. You are supposed to shoot enemies and bosses
while collecting powerups in order to help you survive. The controls in this
game are very bad and hard to get used to and they dynamics aren't that great.
This game is repetitive and gets boring really fast so you'll get to the point
of hating it.
Hardness factor: The game is pretty hard. Sometimes you won't be able
to hit an enemy until it's almost right up against you. Also, there are just
barrages of enemies in the later levels.
Overall: 4 out of 10. I believe this game was ported from an arcade version.
I'm not sure how good that version is, but this game just wasn't fun and it
had no lasting appeal.
