Gyromite

Overall: 8 out of 10
Graphics: The game has really poor graphics (3/10), but taking into context
that this game was made pretty early in the NES I gave it a much higher
score. There's hardly any detail, the color scheme is really, really bad,
and they definitely could have added some more enemies in this game.
Sound: I didn't really like the music in this game that much. However,
that's just my opinion. I bet it was pretty good when it first came out,
but I hate how low the quality of it was. It just sounded too much like
a midi in my opinion. There really weren't any sound effects in the game either.
Gameplay: Gyromite was one of only two games made for ROB, a Nintendo
paraphernalia. In Gyromite you've got to keep ROB's gyroscope spinning in
order to make it so that ROB can move all of the pistons and so the
professor can defuse all of the bombs. There really isn't a lot of depth
to this game, but it's a lot better than playing Stack Up. Controls are
pretty bad too since ROB wasn't designed that well.
Hardness factor: It really does matter for this game. Some people don't get
the hang of ROB, others do. I thought this game was kind of hard, just not at first.
Overall: 8 out of 10. An 8? Yes, this is the best game for the ROB and it's
really cool to play if you have it. As far as overall on the NES, I'd give
it about a 6.5.
