Graphics: This game had some pretty bad graphics. Enemies looked lame,
they made the main character way too big, and the color scheme is off.
Also, a lot of the game is lacking in detail, even bosses.
Sound: The music in this game was okay. It was kind of boring, but at least
it wasn't (always) annoying. Sound effects were definitely on the weak
side however.
Gameplay: Another overhead spaceshooter for the NES. This game didn't
have any original aspects except that there is also a boring overhead platform
part where you play as a guy with a gun and must find your way out of the
level. Of course, once you kill some enemies, you get a powerup, but they
are usually so unspectacular that you won't even notice them. What I really
didn't like about this game was just how many enemies there are on the field
and how fast they move at you. Controls aren't the best either, your spaceship
moves a little too slowly.
Hardness factor: This game is pretty hard. The only thing that makes this
game easy is that you have a ton of life and you usually can shoot pretty fast.
Overall: 3.5 out of 10. I really didn't like this game. It was just boring and
it didn't seem like they worked on this game very hard. I wouldn't even
recommend this game to diehard SHMUPS fans.
