Graphics: This game had some pretty cool graphics. Granted, the quality
wasn't that great, but it had a very original color scheme. Also, most of
the enemies looked original and very wicked. They really set the theme
of the game very well.
Sound: The music was also above normal. The quality, once again, was
pretty cruddy, but the songs and sound effects were very good and the
songs had a nice tune.
Gameplay: This game is the prequel to Ghouls N Ghosts (I believe this is
so; those two games are basically the same so I sometimes get them
mixed up) and Demons Quest I and II. Anyway, this game plays extraordinarily
like Ghouls N Ghosts. The map is basically the same (the layout is
changed just a little), there are a lot of similar enemies, all the main
characters are there, ect. It's basically the same exact thing. For those
that have never played Ghouls N Ghosts or Super Ghouls N Ghosts, you
play as a knight (Arthur, I believe) and must go out and find the princess
of his castle in this classic sidescroller. What made this game different
is that you could collect different weapons that would go away everytime
you died. Also, you have a suit of army, which flies off of you if you get
hit, and leaves you in your boxers until you get hit again and then die. A
really well developed and generally fun game, although the controls are hard.
Hardness factor: The controls in this game were very hard to get used
to, but it just adds to the challenge of this game. Some enemies are
relentless and tough, but I did beat this game.
Overall: 6 out of 10. This game is really cool. I definitely recommend this
game along with all it's prequels and sequels.
