Final Fantasy
Reviewed by Dingo Jellybean
This game started it all. It has brilliant storyline along with some excellent
music and addicting gameplay. This game has started me on the path to Final
Fantasy galore! This is the very first game for the unique series and was for
the NES but played too good for it. This game is long and you can select 4 out
of 6 characters to begin with so each character has a certain attribute like
the Fighter is immensely strong and durable with very high HP but extremely
low on spells and MP. This game is the best game for the NES and I just want
to shake he hands who made this game.
Graphics 10 out of 10
The graphics are extremely good for the NES because you can tell what the
things are without guessing and the characters fit the role playing stature
like atmosphere. Just brilliantly made graphics.
Music and Sound 10 out of 10
Superb, excellent, whatever its just great music that matches the areas and
surrounding biomass of each place. The music is great because it brings you
back to the game because you just want to hear it again. Just brilliant music
that goes beyond meaning.
Game Challenge 10 out of 10
Wow! Its just too hard beating the enemies in this game but they are beat
able. When you get stunned you are stuck unable to do a thing and the monsters
just keep attacking. This really makes me mad but its in all good RPGs.
Game Play-Fun 10 out of 10
Just excellent. Once you start playing you get addicted to the stroyline and
it just doesn't stop because you just want to keep going. This game is huge!!
Its bigger than Donkey Kong Country 3!!! Well in gameplay wise. So much was
crammed into this cartridge you're just amazed that the cartridge might
explode or the NES. Its just fabulous just undescribable.
Frustration
Well the monsters in this game are very frustrating because they are just so
darn strong. That's not the only thing you must hit the reset button while turning
it off or you'll lose your entire gameplay so just download the rom instead.
Replayability 10 out of 10
Just great because you have yet to explore the abilities of the other 2
characters you haven't selected in the beginning thus changing the storyline
a little bit. The music doesn't get tiring and the replay value is just too high.
Game Value
This game has so much setimental value you just don't want to give it up. You
finish the game and you're like Wow! you just sit there all day and just don't
want to leave your seat and you sometimes wish you could be there saving
the world. Just brilliant and an awesome game. No money can ever buy you
this much enjoyment. This game
is priceless. I bought it for $15 at Funcoland but I think I got the better
deal like trading in a used shoelace for Billions of Dollars no Lie!! This game
is just too amazing even for the NES. I was a late comer in this game though
having to buy it in 1997 seven years after it came to the U.S. Take advantage
of this and buy the game at whatever yo can because you won't regret it.
Overall 10 out of 10
Astonishing. An excellent game that starts a huge series on the NES
Game Boy, Super NES Famicon (Japan), and Super Famicon (Japan). You can't
buy this game easily off anybody, they probably won't sell it. An excellently
made game that deserves high recognition and quality. Too bad it was #37
all time according to
GamePro but I thinks its second all time only to none other than
Final Fantasy 2.
