Gameplay: 7.5 out of 10
Hardness factor: 7 out of 10
Overall: 7 out of 10
Graphics: The graphics are pretty poor. Your character is only two colors
and everything looks very fake. However, that shouldn't turn you off about
this game.
Sound: There's one short 10 second or so song at the title screen and the
only other sound effects are when you rev up and crash. There are a few
games that are like this for the NES though.
Gameplay: A very cool and classic racing game that I highly recommend.
While there isn't much to the game, the physics of jumping are just right
and it's fun for an hour or so. There's not much replay value to it, but they
definitely should bring this back to the GBA, just with new stuff. Anyway,
what you basically have to do in this game is race against a clock so you
can go on to the next level.
Hardness factor: This game does get hard, but it's a breeze at first. At
the later levels, it's pretty much impossible to win a race if you crash
even once.
Overall: 7 out of 10. One of the coolest (and oldest) games for the NES
that I pretty much love. You should get it if you ever find it, though it does
get old after a while. Too bad Excitebike 64 isn't this good.
