Sound: 5 out of 10
Gameplay: 6.5 out of 10
Hardness factor: 6.5 out of 10
Overall: 6 out of 10
Graphics: The graphics are actually pretty bad. The enemies often repeat
in levels and some enemies are just reshaded and slightly changed enemies
of levels before. The color scheme is pretty off and the levels just look
pretty bland. I thought the lay out of most the levels were very original however.
Sound: The music was very good in this game, but the quality of it was
also very low. The sound effects definitely needed to be changed since I
don't think there were enough in this game.
Gameplay: This game is a fast paced sidescroller, kind of like Sonic only
not that fast. You play as a samurai warrior and must make your way
across a large level battling respawning characters and then the boss at
the end. You can throw stars and slice with your sword (slicing hurts a
little more) in this game and you can also collect powerups, if you're lucky
enough to find them. This game is very original and has its fun moments.
Also, the levels are pretty big and it's fun to just jump around in this game.
Hardness factor: This game isn't easy. You have to know exactly when to hit,
especially at the bosses. Also, the controls are a little too rigid.
Overall: 6 out of 10. I really liked this game years ago and it's still fun to
replay it every once in a while. It's an original game, but it is short and hard.
