Sound: 6 out of 10
Gameplay: 6.5 out of 10
Hardness factor: 6 out of 10
Overall: 6 out of 10
Graphics: The graphics were pretty blob. Just like a lot of space shooters,
not a lot of thought went into enemies. Most of them are just blobs with
circles in them or circles with blobs in them. They didn't even spend
enough time on the spaceship. The only good thing about the game is that
there's a pretty good color scheme.
Sound: The music is pretty good, though the sound effects need a lot of
work (usually it's the other way around). The songs are pretty original,
though the 'instruments' are generic.
Gameplay: A space shooter and sidescroller. Half of the game is a space
shooter, where you pilot a ship that can only shoot and must collect
energy and bombs (which you can't use while in the ship). When you get
to the end of a level, you'll done a space suit and go into a sort of
sidescroller. Here you run on energy instead of getting hit once and then
you die, and you can also use the bombs you collected to harm enemies
more. The game is original, but there really isn't a lot of replay value
to it. However, HAL makes some of the best games, so maybe this is
the game for you.
Hardness factor: This is one of those one hit and you're dead spaceshooters,
but the enemies aren't really that hard (at least not early in the game).
And the sidescroller part is especially easy.
Overall: 6 out of 10. I actually enjoyed this game and I don't particularly
like space shooters. If they added more powerups for the ship, it would
have definitely been more fun.
