Super Smash Bros. Melee
Reviewed by Johnny Gonzalez
This is a sequel to the game Super Smash Bros. for the N64. This is
one of the best sequels I've ever played.
Graphics: 9.5 out of 10
The graphics on this game are so cool. Well of course this is the
Game Cube. There are no blocky places to see anywhere, or slowdown
for the lots of items on the screen. The only thing that could of been
better was if the screen was just a little bit zoomed in so the
characters would be a little bit bigger.
Music and Sound: 10 out of 10
The sound and music on this game is just outstanding. Everything
from the "Pikachu" sounds that Pikachu make, to the classic Hyrule
castle song from the SNES version of Link is in here and with lots
of detail. Be sure to crank up the volume for this game.
Game Challenge: 8.9 out of 10
Super Smash Bros. Melee might seem easy at first when you first get the
game and beat the classic mode on easy. But when you keep playing it, you
unlock all-star mode and events that are really hard or impossible. But
any die-hard Super Smash Bros. expert should still beat every mode
with a little bit of work.
Game Play-Fun: 9.9 out of 10
This game could never get boring. How could it with over 60 events,
time based melees from 3 minutes to 15 minutes, and number of
enemy melees from 30 man to 100 man? This could will last FOREVER.
Frustration
Super Smash Bros. Melee could be a little frustrating to newbies or
players from Super Smash Bros. because of the controls. Take example
Ness. On N64, PK Fire is performed by pressing B. Now, you have to
press right of left with B. This could get very confusing and playability.
Replayability: 10 out of 10
As I said before, this game never gets boring. It just has too many
things for me to mention. You will probably be playing this game 5
years from because of how much replayability and how much fun
Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Game Value: 6 out of 10
For all this game has in it, it is defiantly worth a lot. But the price
problem is what i have with every next-generation video game. Since I'm
13, and my parents never really buy me expensive games, I hate
the price of games being around 50$ But Super Smash Bros. Melee
is priced at a good price.
Multi player: 11 out of 10
You better find as many of your friends as you can and bring them over
for a melee time! This game is great for multi player, 2nd to 007 games.
Overall: 10 out of 10
Anybody who likes any of the following: Pokemon, Mario, Zelda, Kirby,
F-Zero, or any other Nintendo hit series should run to the store right
now and buy this game. If you don't you will hate yourself for the rest
of the life, and people will laugh at you and say " There goes the person
that didn't buy the best action/fighting game." Just go buy it.
