The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening
Reviewed by Tony Fisher
This is a rather interesting game that is very similar to the one on
Super Nintendo yet has its own little plot. It is interesting how this
game has come from a long line of games including ones on Nintendo,
Super Nintendo, and soon to be released on the Nintendo 64. Of all my
Game Boy games this one spend's the most time in my Game Boy. All
in all it is a great game.
Graphics 9 out of 10
Since this game is not a very old game it is one of Game Boy's more
advanced games graphic wise. it has a smooth picture and although
sometimes it is hard to see the bats and other things in dark caves.
Music and Sound 10 out of 10
It has great music that follows the tradition of Legend of Zelda games.
It has a sound that matches the action genre of this game and a snappy
town music that makes you feel calm.
Game Challenge 6 out of 10
This game is rather easy once you figure out all of the puzzles and
tricks to get through certain levels. The first time I played I thought
it was a tough game because of all the puzzles keeping me from getting
through it, but after I beat it a couple of times it was a snap.
Game Play-Fun 10 out of 10
This a fun game even though they try to confuse you with all the talk of
the wind fish and how the island will disappear etc. It is great the first
time you beat it because you don't know what is going to happen next.
Frustration
Other then all the puzzles it isn't very frustrating.
Replayability 5 out of 10
It is fun the first couple of times you beat it but after that it gets
kind of boring because you know exactly how to beat it.
Game Value 10 out of 10
This game is worth about $15 in stores and it is worth it if you cant
find it used in stores which is where I like to buy my games if I can
find them. I suggest buying this game if your into this kind of RPG.
